We were delighted to mark the Jubilee Year, a time for reflection, renewal, and action.
The year began with an inspiring assembly hosted by our CAFOD Club, celebrating the theme Pilgrims of Hope. Throughout the year, our boys engaged in meaningful activities that brought the Jubilee values of hope, justice, and community to life.
Although we are no longer Pilgrims, we continue to uphold our pledge as Ambassadors of Hope, carrying forward the spirit of the Jubilee in everything we do. We celebrated our achievements in a special assembly, reflecting on how faith, service, and responsibility have shaped our journey.
The official end of the Jubilee Year
Pope Leo closed the Holy Door at St Peter’s Basilica on 6th January at the Vatican, marking the official end of the Jubilee Year. The door will be sealed until the next Holy Year, which is likely to be 2033, the 2,000th anniversary of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
