Drama4All Inspires Confidence and Creativity at Loyola Prep

Reception, KS1 and Prep boys had an absolutely fantastic time taking part in the Drama4All workshop from Perform! The session was filled with energy, imagination, and laughter, as the children threw themselves into storytelling, role-play, and performance. It was wonderful to see every boy—no matter how shy or outgoing—finding their voice and having fun while learning new skills.

Workshops like Drama4All fit perfectly with our strong performing arts ethos here at Loyola. We believe that creative expression is key to helping our pupils grow in confidence, teamwork, and communication, skills that will serve them long after they leave our school.

Alongside drama, our music provision continues to thrive. From our vibrant choir and Schola, to individual tuition in guitar, singing, and piano, every boy is given the chance to explore his musical potential. With regular opportunities to perform—whether in school assemblies, concerts, or local community events—our pupils learn to take pride in their achievements and to perform with confidence.

We often hear from former parents who tell us how much their sons’ confidence blossomed during their time at Loyola, thanks in large part to the many opportunities they had to perform. Whether it’s acting on stage, singing in the choir, or playing a solo piece, these experiences help our boys develop poise, self-belief, and a love of creative expression that stays with them well beyond Loyola.

At Loyola Prep, we’re proud to nurture not just academic excellence, but confident, expressive young men who are ready to shine, both on stage and in life.
